THE GIGGLING
BOULDERS
West Virginia
See a photograph of the Giggling Boulders on May 22, 1865 ! To the right of the tiny white house that is barely visible on the other side of the river are two darker lumps. The house is just above the center of the photograph. These two darker lumps are the left most Giggling Boulders on the map below. The stone wall I have drawn is visible in front of the white house. only area covered

The rock here is of good quality
because these boulders have been eroded by the Shenandoah River. If only the
Shenandoah and Chestnut Hill boulders were riverside! I can guarantee a good
time on the problems at this small area, particularly problems 6-14. Be mindful
of the river levels! Remember, the grades below are approximate. I have a
feeling some of these could be misgraded.
