MARYLAND HEIGHTS
BOULDERING COVE
This overhang is a great place
to hang out, or warm up and/or cool down. To find it you need to hike to the
top of Maryland Heights and then work your way down to the point above the last
major downstream slab that makes up the prominent cliffs called Maryland
Heights. You can see up and down the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers, and you can
see the town of Harpers Ferry from this point. The climbing is a perfect mix of
jugs and crimps for eliminate type fun. The landing is grassy and the climbing
is overhanging.
